TCU Magazine "Academe"

Yes, that is a toilet seat in Dale Young’s ’66 (MEd ’68) office. Fortunately, it’s only decorative. As an undergrad, Young was a cheerleader. That rah-rah spirit pervaded his purple-walled office in the Bailey Building, where he has been the director of student teaching and career services for the School of Education for 21 years. Renovations forced Young to pack his shrine to all things Horned Frogs. But when the building reopens next year, Young promises the memorabilia will again line the shelves.

Send us pictures of your favorite pieces of TCU memorabilia and the stories behind them. We might feature them in a future issue.
